Park Terms and Conditions

We are a FAMILY FRIENDLY CAMPING FACILITY. (Please note: we do not take internet reservations, we call you back if you leave contact information by email, but we only do our bookings by telephone with a credit card in the name of one of the persons registering.    

Payments: Reservation deposits by telephone, must be made with a valid Visa or MasterCard owned by one of the responsible persons attending the site booked, all final payments may be made by cash, debit, Visa or Mastercard (of one of the responsible adults attending that site). Any discounted pricing (ie Good Sam’s discount) must give Valid Good Sam’s Card number at the time of booking and show it upon arrival to verify and must pay in full at check in.

PLEASE NOTE:  We do not take reservations of less than one week duration prior to April 1 each year, no exceptions. 

RENTAL OF CABINS: 
When making reservations for cabins or cottages, there will be a minimun deposit of $250.00 required. The balance will automatically be charged to your credit card 14 days prior to arrival.

CABIN CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposit is non-refundable within 30 days notice of arrival. If we receive more than 30 days of notice before arrival, the cancellation fee is $100.00.

RV & TENT SITES: 
Campsite site fees are based on a family of 2 adults and their 2 children ages 17 yrs old and under, children 3 yr old and under are free.  Additional charges will apply for more than 2 adults and or 2 children over the age of three. Full payment is due upon booking.

Once your deposit has been received you will receive a reservation confirmation through the mail (if time allows) along with your payment receipt and the terms and conditions which must be read and signed upon arrival at our Office. 

CANCELLATIONS

RV & TENT SITES: 
If we receive notification of cancellation a minimum of 14 days prior to your arrival, we will refund all monies paid less a $40 administration fee. If we receive notification of cancellation less than 14 days of your arrival date a $120 cancellation fee will apply. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date, no refunds will be issued, NO EXCEPTIONS. Once the vacation has commenced, no refunds will be issued.

ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES
Check-in time for all cabin rentals is 3pm-8pm. Campsite check-in time is 1pm-8pm. Please have only one member of your party check your group in. Early check-ins will not be permitted. Check out times for all is 11am. **A full day's rate will be applied to late check-outs**

RENTAL SECURITY & KEY DEPOSITS

ALL OF OUR CABINS ARE ABSOLUTELTY NON-SMOKING 
All cabins & cottage reservations will have a $25 key deposit added to them. This will be refunded when you check-out and return the keys to the office. An extra 5% bed tax is also applicable on all rental units.
A $300 security deposit will processed just prior to your check-in time. This amount will be reserved as a pre-authorization only on a major credit card. This will be placed on the same card used for your holiday booking. Please make arrangements with our reservation team if you want a different card used. Once the unit has been inspected and found to be in the same condition as when you arrived, the credit card information will be released. Any damage will be assessed and charged to your credit card. An additional charge will be added to your credit card for any home needing excessive cleaning.

PETS 
Emerald Lake is a family resort and therefore carefully "breed specific" when making the decision of allowing pets into the Resort. Please check with reservations for more inofrmation. We would prefer that you do not bring pets into the cabins. Please advise our reservation desk at time of booking if you are planning to bring a pet. An automatic $100 pet fee will be applied to your reservation for steam cleaning the cottage upon departure.

**NO ANIMALS ARE PERMITTED IN THE WATERPARK AREA, WHICH INCLUDES THE LAKE (5 acre spring fed quarry). We do have a fenced area for dogs to run for exercise. You are expected to clean up after your pets.

CHILDREN & YOUTHS 
Emerald Lake is a family resort which welcomes children of all ages. Children & youths under the age of 18 are permitted on the property with adequate parental supervisions. All persons under the age of 18, must be at their campsite no later than 11pm. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children.

GUESTS 
Effective Immediately: There will be no overnight guests at or on your site unless arranged at time of booking. Please do not invite your friends and family to come up for the weekend. The sites are designed for 1 family only. Extra adults on site means adult, children or grandparent. It does not mean other extended family members or friends. A site is meant for up to 2 adults & 2 children between the ages of 4 & 17. Our reservation desk is open daily from 9 am to 7 pm. After 7pm, the number becomes an emergency line. Due to the Privacy Act - We are not permitted, BY LAW, to inform anyone of your whereabouts. Your visitors will be turned away from the park if you have not notified us of their expected arrival. All visitors are required to pay the normal admission price at the gate and must leave the park by 10 pm. All visitors are subject to the rules & regulations of the Resort. Registered guests will be held responsible and accountable for their visitor actions.

RV & TENT SITES
Camping & RV sites are for 2 adults and 2 children. Additional charges will apply for more than 2 adults per site, $15 per adult per night (Max. 4 adults per site, max. total of 6 people per site). Only 1 tent or RV per site. A small pup tent will be allowed for the children. 1 vehicle allowed per site. Additional vehicles must be parked in the parking lot, if they do not fit on the campsite. Car passes must be pisplayed at all times in the front window of your vehicle. Extra vehicle charge is $6.00 per weekend.

CABIN INVENTORY
All cabins come equipped with 1 double bed & 2 bunks; table & chairs (No linens are supplied). Outside - 1 picnic table; 2 chairs on the front porch & 1 firepit. Outside watertap. Showers and washrooms are nearby. Please bring your own linens & towels.

UPGRADED CABIN INVENTORY
All up-graded cabins size 10'x26' come equipped with 1 queen bed & 4 bunks (No linens are supplied). Fridge, Microwave, Kettle, Pots & Pans, Dishes, Table & Chairs. Outside - 1 picnic table; 2 chairs on the front porch & 1 firepit. Indoor kitchen sink. Showers and washrooms are nearby. Please bring your own linens & towels.

AMENETIES & FACILITIES
Please remember that all amenities are on a seasonal, weather dependant schedule. The Water Park is open as of Victoria Day weekend and each weekend until June 15th. We then open 7 days a week until & including Labour Day; weather permitting. THE LAW REQUIRES us to close the waterslide, splash pad, kiddie pool and to clear all the people from the lake, when the lifeguards detect thunder or lightning & it must remain closed for 1/2 an hour after last detection of same. We will not keep the water park open on cold, rainy days. Management reserves the right to make decision on re-opening. We apologize for inconvenience this may cause you.

We will not accept reservations from single individuals under the age of 25 years of age. Emerald Lake reserves the right to terminate a booked holiday if any stated rules are in violation. No refunds will be issued.
