Park Terms and Conditions
RESERVATIONS FOR 1 WEEK OR LONGER MAY BE MADE AT ANY TIME. RESERVATIONS FOR LESS THAN 1 WEEK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNTIL MAY 1st, 2011
We are a FAMILY FRIENDLY CAMPING FACILITY. (Please note: we do not take internet reservations, we will call you back if you leave contact information by email, but we only do our bookings by telephone with a credit card in the name of one of the persons registering.
PAYMENTS:
Payment is due in FULL at time of booking. Reservation payments may be made by cash, debit, money order, Visa or Mastercard. Please do not send cash by mail. Reservations made with invalid or declined credit cards will recieve one notification call only. The reservation will be cancelled if not rectified.
RENTAL OF CABINS:
All cabins & cottage rentals are based on min. of 2 nights and 3 nights for long weekends. Payment must be made in full at time of booking. For reservations of 1 week or longer, we require 50% at time of booking with full payment due 2 weeks prior to your arrival date.
RENTAL CANCELLATION POLICY:
If we receive more than 21 days of notice before arrival the cancellation fee is $50.00. 8-20 days; cancellation fee is $100.00, 7 days or less - NO REFUNDS.
CAMPING CANCELLATIONS:
RV & TENT SITES:
If we receive notification of cancellation a minimum of 14 days prior to your arrival, we will refund all monies paid less a $25 administration fee. If we receive notification of cancellation 8-14 days of your arrival date a $50 cancellation fee will apply. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date, no refunds will be issued, NO EXCEPTIONS. Once the vacation has commenced, no refunds will be issued. HST is added to all prices and fees.
ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES:
Check-in time for all cabin rentals is 3pm-8pm. Campsite check-in time is 1pm-8pm. Please have only one member of your party check your group in. Early check-ins will not be permitted. Check out times for all is 11am ENFORCED. Please check your paperwork to confrim the correct departure date. Should there be a problem, please contact the reservation desk.
RENTAL SECURITY & KEY DEPOSITS:
ALL OF OUR CABINS ARE ABSOLUTELTY NON-SMOKING
All cabins & cottage reservations will have a $325 security deposit added to them. ($25.00 key deposit & $300 for damage security). This amount will be charged to your credit card upon check-in, and will be refunded after the rental unit has been inspected and found to be in the same condition as when you arrived. Any damage will be assessed and charged to your credit card. We do not have house keeping services. Please clean-up after yourselves. Normal cleaning is expected. An additional $100.00 charge will be added to your credit card for any home needing excessive cleaning.
PETS:
Emerald Lake is a family resort and therefore carefully "breed specific" when making the decision of allowing pets into the Resort. All animals must be people & other animal friendly. Please check with reservations for more inofrmation.
We do not allow pets of any kind into the rental units.
**NO ANIMALS ARE PERMITTED IN THE WATERPARK AREA, WHICH INCLUDES THE LAKE (5 acre spring fed quarry). We do have a fenced area for dogs to run for exercise. You are expected to clean up after your pets.
CHILDREN & YOUTHS:
Emerald Lake is a family resort which welcomes children of all ages. Children & youths under the age of 18 are permitted on the property with adequate parental supervision. All persons under the age of 18, must be at their campsite no later than 11pm. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children.
GUESTS:
Any campers that are expecting guests to visit, must notify the gate personnel. Due to the Privacy Act - We are not permitted, BY LAW, to inform anyone of your whereabouts. Your visitors will be turned away from the park if you have not notified us of their expected arrival. All visitors are required to pay the normal admission price at the gate. Visitors must arrive before 6pm and leave the park by 10pm. All visitors are subject to the rules & regulations of the Resort. Registered guests will be held responsible and accountable for their visitor actions.
RV & TENT SITES
Camping & RV sites are for 2 adults and up to 2 children. Additional charges will apply for more than 2 adults per site, $15 per adult per night. Extra adults refers to your children over the age of 17, parents, or grandparents staying in the same unit or tent with you. (Max. 4 adults per site, total of 6 people per site, only 1 tent or RV per site). A small pup tent will be allowed for the children. 2 vehicles allowed per site (space permitting). Additional vehicles must be parked in the parking lot. Car passes must be displayed at all times in the front window of your vehicle. Extra vehicle charge is $6.00 per weekend.
BASIC CABIN INVENTORY
All cabins are 10x17' and come equipped with:
New Air Conditioning
1 queen bed & 2 bunks
1 bar fridge
1 heater
1 fan & 1 kettle
(No linens are supplied).
Outside - 1 picnic table; 2 chairs on the front porch & 1 firepit. Outside watertap. Showers and washrooms are nearby.
Please bring your own linens, towels, BBQ equipment, sleeping bags,
and all other camping items (except tent).
UPGRADED CABIN INVENTORY
The up-graded cabin size is 10x26' and comes equipped with:

DELUXE CABIN INVENTORY
The Deluxe cabin comes equipped with a queen bed
separate bedroom with 1 set of bunk beds
4 pc bathroom
kitchenette with mini fridge, toaster, coffeemaker, kettle, microwave, counter and sink, table & chairs, dishes & cutlery, heat & air conditioning, a charcoal bbq outside and 2 Adirondak chairs on the porch, fire pit and picnic table, no linens or towels supplied.
COTTAGE INVENTORY
The cottage is a fully equppied rental unit. It includes:
2 bedrooms - the master with a queen bed and a door out to the deck, the second with a set of bunk beds
Full bathroom with a tub & shower
Kitchen has a full fridge

propane grill with a side burner. Deck leads to the lawn with 6 Adirondak chairs and a
firepit.
Clothes, toiletries & food are not included.
AMENETIES & FACILITIES
Please remember that all amenities are on a seasonal, weather dependant schedule. The Water Park is open as of Victoria Day weekend and each weekend until June 1st. We then open 7 days a week until & including Labour Day; weather permitting. THE LAW REQUIRES us to close the waterslide, splash pad, kiddie pool and to clear all the people from the lake, when the lifeguards detect thunder or lightning & it must remain closed for 1/2 an hour after last detection of same. We will not keep the water park open on cold, rainy days. Management reserves the right to make decision on re-opening. We apologize for inconvenience this may cause you.

We will not accept reservations from or for any individuals under 25 years of age, unless you are part of a family unit (consisting of 2 adults with minors). Emerald Lake reserves the right to terminate a booked holiday if any stated rules are in violation. No refunds will be issued.
